Data stored on your device

Wheel Builder stores hubs, rim presets, saved builds, notes, and app preferences locally on your device. This information stays on your device unless you choose to export it or enable iCloud sync.

iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, Wheel Builder uses Apple's iCloud key-value store to sync your hubs, rim presets, saved builds, notes, and app preferences across devices signed in to your Apple ID. Wheel Builder does not operate a server or receive this synced data.

Import and export

If you use import or export features, you choose the files and locations through Apple's system document picker. Exported files may contain hub, rim, build, and notes information you entered.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Wheel Builder does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs.

Network use

The core calculator does not require a network connection. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's iCloud service. Links in the About screen may open your browser to view this website, support page, privacy policy, or App Store listing.
